!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I was just wondering myself... how are you guys in the USA set up for kit and trim?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I also personally think this car doesn't need specification upgrades. The more basic it is, the better!

No auto wipers, dimming mirror, folding mirrors, or backup sensors available here. The keyless entry/start and auto-climate are standard and navi is an option.

I think most prospective FieSTa buyers here would take the US version's 17 extra horsepower over that stuff.

I thought that the US Fiesta was listed as having an extra seventeen horsepower because, there, Ford are allowed to advertise the engine's output on overboost, whereas here they have to use the off-overboost figure?

"The Fiesta ST is powered by a 1.6-litre Ford EcoBoost engine to deliver performance while still providing good fuel efficiency. The 1.6-litre Ford EcoBoost Turbocharged engine will feature Twin-independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) and put out 182 PS (134 kW; 180 hp) with 177 lbft (240 Nm) of torque providing an acceleration time of under 7 seconds (0–100 km/h) and a top speed of 136 mph. This engine features "overboost," allowing delivery of up to 197bhp [52] for a maximum of 15 seconds. [52] In the USA, Ford is permitted to market the engine offering its overboost power figure. By contrast, in other countries such as the UK, a manufacturer is not permitted to market an engine's temporary output. [52] )"

Edit: I see KirkyV beat me to the punch

Negative, it's not 17 extra hp. In the US they can advertise the overboost as peak power, in the UK they can not. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/for…

Though to be fair, how many drivers will be using full throttle for longer than 15 continuous seconds? Hardly any.

To clarify. The U.K./Euro ST2 is 180bhp, with boost its 200bhp. The Euro specs list the normal bhp without boost where the US figures are inclusive of boost. Something to do with US Transportation.

"An overboost function delivers 200bhp for 15 second bursts, while 290Nm of torque means there's strong in-gear flexibility."
